How Weapon Prestige works
Weapon Prestige is per weapon, not account-wide. It resets the weapon’s level to 1 and relocks standard attachments, while Apex attachments stay unlocked (Apex guide). The four Pyroclast camos sit on that prestige track, so they are separate from Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break and Divergence.
What to track
- Which weapon you are prestiging — the four camos are per weapon.
- Your Weapon Prestige level and Prestige Master level; Scatter and Cascade need Prestige Master 150 and 250.
- Do not merge these rows with the 14 core camo rows; the tracker keeps them under Mastery & Prestige.

Per the official Call of Duty blog: 8 Military camos (weapon level), 3 Special camos, Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break, then the Divergence mastery camo.
How do I unlock Gold camo in MW4?
Get 15 kills in a single Multiplayer match, or 100 kills in a single DMZ match, with that weapon.
How do I unlock Platinum?
Earn Gold on every weapon in the class, then finish the class challenge. Assault Rifles: 50 headshots in Multiplayer or 100 in DMZ.
How do Harmonic Break and Divergence unlock?
Harmonic Break needs Platinum on all 33 weapons plus a class challenge (Assault Rifles: 25 double kills in MP or 50 in DMZ). Divergence needs Harmonic Break on all 33 weapons.
Why are some challenges marked unverified?
Activision has published full Special camo challenges only for the Han 86 and Sang 9mm. For the other 31 weapons we show community-reported challenges from a pre-launch sheet, clearly flagged, because the launch patch says some in-game requirements were corrected.
