Data checked 2026-10-26Site audit 2026-11-012 official · 31 community-reportedCorrections & conflicts
Who runs the site is on about; the checklist itself is on the camo tracker.
Trust lines: every content page now shows “Last verified 2026-11-02 · Sources: … · Contact us” directly under the H1, guide pages carry a byline, and the footer links About, Methodology, Changelog, Privacy, Terms and Contact.
New pages:methodology (the six sources, the build steps, three limits), this changelog, data (the 462-row CSV under CC BY 4.0) and how camo challenges work.
Weapon pages: all 33 gained a “Challenge notes” block, marked “Strategy notes, not official”, and a “What this page adds” block naming which rows are publisher-sourced and which are community-reported.
About: rewritten from a method note into “About MW4 Camo Tracker”, naming the maintainer and adding an AboutPage schema with an Organization and an empty sameAs.
Why: a reader could see a number but not when it was checked, who checked it, or which parts of a page were the publisher’s and which were ours.
Corrections: published corrections with the audit log and four known data conflicts, linked from every page.
Content fixes: the Combat Knife page said “14 Military camo rows” and now says 8 Military + 3 Special + 3 completionist; the M4 said “72 unlock levels” and now says max weapon level 72; static progress totals that read 0 / 473, 0 / 14 and a wrong class count were corrected.
Removed: the above-the-fold “fan-made / unverified” warning and the claim that the free checklist tracks one weapon — the client never enforced it, so the offer and the product now match.
Added: a status bar with data-check and audit dates, a short-answer block on home, weapon, class and guide pages, and camo-ladder.svg with alt text.
Why: an audit could not tell which numbers were official; the removed warning pushed every reader away instead of labelling the rows that needed it.

Review round: the 404 page got one brand in the title, a real description and noindex; the Pro page got og:site_name, and the BO7 camo tracker page got a description cut from 186 to 151 characters, three H3 sections, og:site_name and WebPage author/date schema.
Why: an independent review found the 404 page and the Pro page still missed the title, description and schema rules the rest of the site already followed.
Provenance: every checklist row and challenge table row now carries an official, unverified or not-published label, generated from the existing data fields.
Why: players kept asking why a camo was not counting, and the site had no way to show which rows were the publisher’s and which came from a community sheet.
Build: added tools/wrap/ so the worker can be wrapped for the live host, and scripts/ci.sh now builds the wrapper before testing.
Why: the CI gate was failing on a missing wrapper, which blocked every later change; no URL was added, renamed or removed.

What this page covers
This page is part of the independent MW4 camo tracker. Data is checked and dated; community reports are labelled.
How to use it
Follow the links to the relevant weapon, class or guide page, and use the tracker to keep your own progress.
Per the official Call of Duty blog: 8 Military camos (weapon level), 3 Special camos, Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break, then the Divergence mastery camo.
How do I unlock Gold camo in MW4?
Get 15 kills in a single Multiplayer match, or 100 kills in a single DMZ match, with that weapon.
How do I unlock Platinum?
Earn Gold on every weapon in the class, then finish the class challenge. Assault Rifles: 50 headshots in Multiplayer or 100 in DMZ.
How do Harmonic Break and Divergence unlock?
Harmonic Break needs Platinum on all 33 weapons plus a class challenge (Assault Rifles: 25 double kills in MP or 50 in DMZ). Divergence needs Harmonic Break on all 33 weapons.
Why are some challenges marked unverified?
Activision has published full Special camo challenges only for the Han 86 and Sang 9mm. For the other 31 weapons we show community-reported challenges from a pre-launch sheet, clearly flagged, because the launch patch says some in-game requirements were corrected.
Where is my progress stored?
